Who wants to be a Millionaire? is a
television game show where contestants are given a serious of
multiple-choice questions to get a millionaire award: one million
pounds. The Bilingual group of teachers decided to bring this contest
to our school and put our bilingual students to the test.
The first students to participate were
the bilingual students from 1º ESO. They were distributed in ten
groups and on the 22nd February our students were ready to play.
There were 31 questions in total including all the bilingual
subjects : Music, Natural Sciences and Social Sciences. Some of the
questions were also about Andalusia due to the proximitiy of the
celebration of the Andalusian day.
The winners of the contest were:
Ana Pino García 1º A
Gabriel Naranjo Ríos 1º A
Juan Manuel Ruíz Blánquez 1º F
Gema Elisabeth Caiza Farinango 1ºE
Antonio Quevedo García 1º F
On 27th February it was the turn of 2º
ESO. Again they were given questions about the bilingual subjects:
Maths, Social Sciences, Natural Sciences and Music. Questions about
Andalusia were also included. This time the winners were:
Manuel Jesús Núñez Palma 2º A
Carmen Mª Pino Puente 2º B
Miguel Ángel Ramos Esteban 2º A

The award was not one million pound but
a much more educational prize: English books and school materials.
Both teachers and students had a great
